A litany of shit

Here is a snapshot of how my last two months or so have gone. It continues to get worse, and I will very soon not have an online bankroll left. Oh well, it was (sort of) fun while it lasted

I didn't play all of these perfectly, but there is some element of kick in the arse to almost every hand.

Good luck on the tables everyone. God knows you need it.

I got as far as hand 13 and it was just too painful to watch. Can't imagine what it was like playing.

It feels like every time I sit down to play, I suffer some enormous bad beat in a $100+ pot, along with a whole pile of little coolers (typically top pair good kicker vs two pair where I was dominating preflop). It also seems like I lose a lot of money to my opponent's boneheaded plays like ridiculously marginal river value bets.

The flopped nut straight < runner runner flush was yesterday, and kings full of aces (AK in hand) < aces full of kings (rivered ace) was only a few days ago.

The fact that an extremely rational individual can struggle with psychologically rationalising variance (albeit extreme) is why poker is ultimately a great game for you long term. If you can tilt, imagine what effect it is having on your opponents. The good thing with the live game is that it is easier to spot the symptoms.
