I guess this was the wrong time to take a shot at the 5/10 table

(Euros btw) But it was fishy, and I couldn't resist:

But on the plus side:
  • I didn't lose as much as I might have
  • I didn't tilt
  • I didn't chase the loss after the fish on my right left
  • I managed to (almost) break even on the session, even after dumping 15BB on a 2/4
Sidenote: Capping 87s pre is pretty bad, but I think check calling the flop with a set and then donking the turn is possibly worse.

you were dead on both flops regardless of how you played .(obvious in the first scenario i know). someone who will cap 87 is gonna call everything with the oesd .
unlucky .

how do you overlay the hand replayer like u do?

pretty nasty stuff. had a similar hand last night where I had KK v 33 capped preflop, and then he capped the flop of 642r ... of course the turn was a 3.

The hand replayer comes from pokerhandreplays.com.

Here is the hand that recovered part of the deficit:

Note that coolbrezze was the 87dd villain from the 5/10. mramsy is one of my favourite fishies. Gotta love getting three bets in on the turn and river here.

Every time you poke your head up it gets easier. Look forward to seeing you on the other side of 5/10 variance soon.

Every time I poke my head up, I am amazed at how bad the players are. I've heard that beating 5/10 on Stars and Tilt is very, very hard. But it looks to me that Micro and Cake are very beatable when the games run.
